Vision Statement: By providing a safe and supportive living environment, The Haven directly impacts former foster youth whose lives have been drastically altered due to childhood abuse and neglect. We believe that through these efforts, every foster youth can gain meaningful and successful independence, creating a new future that is full of tremendous promise.
Providing transitional living services since 2019
The Haven at Dogwood Ranch serves former foster youth who are in crisis, as they make the crucial transition into adulthood. The Haven is committed to provide safe housing through semi-private residences, assist in the development of healthy living through life skills training, and connect our young people to critical community resources. Statistics show that a significant number of foster youth who do not transition into adulthood connected to safe family will struggle with life altering difficulties including homelessness, extreme drug addiction and frequent incarcerations. Our goal is to change those statistics by helping our residents to produce sustainable life changes that will allow them to succeed well into their adulthood and ensuring that they have a community of family-based support that will follow them for as long as is needed. We believe that by focusing our efforts on the individual needs of each youth in our program, our community and future generations will be strengthened and enhanced by their unique contributions.
If you have a referral or know of a youth who is in need of our services, please feel free to email Lisa.
