The Haven

The Haven at Dogwood Ranch is dedicated to empowering former foster youth to thrive in life by providing safe housing and mentorship. Serving young adults in crisis, The Haven offers semi-private residences, life skills training, and connections to critical community resources to ensure a stable and supportive environment as they transition into adulthood.

Research shows that many foster youths who transition out of care without a supportive family network face significant challenge, including homelessness, substance abuse, and incarceration. At The Haven, our mission is to change these outcomes by equipping residents with the tools and support they need to achieve sustainable life changes, ensuring long-term success and fostering a sense of belonging.

Our vision is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that empowers youth to overcome the effects of childhood abuse and neglect. We believe that with individualized care, every foster youth can achieve meaningful independence and contribute their unique strengths to the community, building a future full of promise.

Our Cabins

At Dogwood Ranch, our two on-site cabins are more than just buildings—they’re a safe and welcoming space where foster youth transitioning into adulthood can begin to rebuild their lives. Each cabin provides a warm, home-like environment designed to offer stability, comfort, and a sense of belonging.

Equipped with two private bedrooms and a shared bathroom, each cabin is designed for independent living, where young adults can learn valuable life skills, pursue their goals, and prepare for a life of stability. Surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the ranch, these cabins provide the perfect setting for personal growth and healing.

Through The Haven program, we ensure that every resident has access to mentorship, support, and resources tailored to their unique needs. Our cabins are more than just a place to stay—they are a place to thrive.
